Chef Alberto Cortez

Alberto Cortez started his career at the Beacon Hill Hotel& Bistro as a food runner over five years ago. Hailing from Mexico City, Alberto developed a passion for food and cooking at a young age. He was influenced by his large family, particularly his mom and sisters.

His favorite dish to prepare is his Pozole, which is native to his home country of Mexico, however Alberto likes to put his own twist into it with specialty ingredients recommended from his sisters. Luckily for us (and you!), we serve his delicious Pozole on our menu!

When Alberto isn’t in the kitchen, you can find him out on the soccer fields playing a pick up game with friends and family. And after a company ski outing last year, he likes to spend his days off on the slopes in New England.
